Privacy
Effective October 11, 2026. DarkLevels is operated by Chris. Privacy contact: support@darklevels.com.
What we store
We store your account email, a salted password hash, membership status, account dates, session and invitation records, and billing references. We do not store your password as plain text. Stripe processes payment details; DarkLevels stores customer and subscription identifiers and status, not full card numbers.
If you connect Discord, we store your Discord user ID, username, server/role association and synchronization status to provide the channels included with your membership. We do not store your Discord OAuth access or refresh tokens.
Short-lived, hashed network-address and account identifiers are used to limit abusive requests. Hosting infrastructure processes connection information to serve and protect the website. Your selected instruments may be saved in your browser's local storage.
How the data is used
Account information supports sign-in, customer support, billing and membership access. Essential session cookies keep you signed in; this site does not use advertising or analytics trackers. Account information is shared with Stripe for payments and, when you connect it, Discord for community access. The downloads page offers our setup video from YouTube: it loads from YouTube's privacy-enhanced player (youtube-nocookie.com) only after you press play, and YouTube's privacy policy then applies to that video. The website and its databases are hosted on a Hostinger VPS in the United States.
Market analysis may be prepared with Google Gemini. Customer passwords, payment details and Discord credentials are not part of the market-analysis prompts. The published website receives approved market research separately from the owner's private research workspace.
Retention & your requests
We keep account and billing records while needed to operate the service, address support requests and maintain required records. Database backups support recovery after a failure. Deletion from the active system does not immediately remove a record from every backup.
Email support@darklevels.com to request access to, correction of or deletion of your account data. We may need to verify your identity first. Cancel any paid subscription before requesting deletion to avoid further renewals. Disconnecting Discord removes the managed membership roles but does not cancel billing.
